Semi-custom cabinets are built-to-order. The materials used are a higher grade than in stock cabinets, with a wider choice of styles and finishes. Standard size cabinets come in 3-inch increments. The manufacturers of semi-custom will allow some changes and modification to the cabinets. Homeowners must take into consideration the manufacturing and delivery time involved with semi-custom cabinets--the lead-time can be from 4 to 6 weeks.
