Granite and marble come in a wide range of colors with a variety of appearances from granular, crystalline, to veins. Some of the edge treatments for these countertops are beveled, bull-nose, quarter rounded, and Ogee. There are other more elaborate edge treatments--contact your fabricator to show you these other styles.

Granite and Marble fabricators apply a coat of impregnator (sealer), providing a long lasting shield to protect the inside of the stone from stains and contaminants. Afterward, a stone polish is applied to the surface to protect the surface from etching and damage. This polish also enhances the natural crystal structures of the stone.
