Fluorescent
Fluorescent
lamps are available in either the tubular shape or compact version. Fluorescent
tubes are two to three times as bright as incandescent bulbs, cost two-thirds
less to operate, and last much, much longer. However, they cast a "cool",
unnatural tone. To address this issue, manufacturers have now developed
"warm white deluxe" tubes that mimic incandescent bulbs. In addition,
you can mix fluorescent lamps with incandescent and natural light to make
the lighting more appealing.
