Drop-In

Drop-in sinks are the most common sinks as they are the easiest to install and the least expensive. When using a laminate countertop, the only available sink choice and installation process is the drop-in. The major drawback is the rim stands anywhere from a 1/8" to ¼" proud (above) of the counter surface creating an abrupt transition causing food crumbs and dirt to gather.
