Decorative lighting is any lighting that commands your attention and often is the highlight of your space. It may be a large stationary fixture or a small movable accessory. Thus items such as a ceiling chandelier or fan, wall sconce, fireplace, candle, and light sculpture can become a form of decorative light. While it commands your attention as a focal point, it is not often a major source of light.
