Commercial-Style
Some
manufacturers may use the term professional-style or commercial-style
to describe high-end residential appliances while others may use the term
to describe the stainless steel look. It is important that these terms
not be confused with "Commercial" appliances, which are available
for "commercial" use only. Residential commercial-style appliances
are designed with BTU (British Thermal Units) outputs that are higher
than traditional needs but comply with the building codes for "residential"
use. Power requirements and outputs vary greatly from one manufacturer
to the next. Don't judge a book by its cover--make sure you know what
you are getting. Do you want a traditional appliance that has a stainless
steel look or do you want a high-end appliance that has all the high-output
components and capabilities? iWANTaNewKITCHEN.com uses the term "residential
commercial-style" where needed.
