Accent
Accent
lighting is direct light that is used to emphasize artwork or a special
detail. This type of lighting also contributes to the ambience of the
room. These light fixtures can be mounted behind the cove molding above
the wall cabinets for "uplighting," or as sconces affixed to the wall.
Accent lighting can also be installed as low-voltage tubes or fiber optic
systems under the base cabinets just above the toekick. Suspended decorative
fixtures over an island or peninsula can be used as accents as well--especially
if powered by a dimmer switch.

the look of your kitchen.
