Finish Work

The cabinets are hung, the appliances and plumbing are hooked up, the countertop is in place, and the flooring and light fixtures are installed. Now it's time to complete the finishing details. This may involve the carpenter (installer), painter, wallpaper hanger, and your Interior Designer. These individuals will be adjusting the doors and drawers, mounting the hardware, painting (stenciling or faux finishing) the walls, ceiling, and woodwork. And if you are planning to wallpaper or install window treatments, they will probably be completing these tasks last. When they are finished, it is time to create a punch list.
